My earliest memories are of building. I loved every second! I never got bored. I was constantly adding to my designs, changing them, expanding, often taking over whole rooms in our house until my mom would finally reign me in. As a compromise, she would take a picture before making me “clean it up" so she could get her room back. This was a constant battle when I was little…if I am honest with you, it still is.
As I have grown, my passion has grown stronger. I never stopped seeking ways to gain new skills and experience, challenge myself to build something more complex, and no matter how many obstacles I faced, I couldn’t imagine choosing another path. Is it possible to be called to do something in your life and know it – from the age of 2?
Currently, I am a sophomore at Rose-Hulman pursuing a bachelor's in mechanical engineering & a master's in engineering management. One day I will work with others to invent solutions that will help solve problems we face so we leave things better than we found them.
